Diamond Contractors was asked by CBRE to partner with Cuidado con el Perro – a large retailer based in Mexico, to build Cuidado’s first four retail stores in the United States, in McAllen, Texas. The project began with a brand-new space in a mall, with no existing finishes, as a clean, blank slate. To bring this space to life, Diamond installed all phases of the store: new electrical, plumbing & HVAC throughout, 12’ high storefront on both sides of the store, with two rolling security grills, two new restrooms, one new freight door in a CMU masonry wall, and an impressive specially stained and custom-built plywood box beam ceiling. Diamond Contractors was trusted to complete this same scope of work at a high standard for Cuidado con el Perro at two additional locations in the Houston area, and one location in El Paso.
