Previously located at Colonial Gardens, The Bean Counter was in search of a new restaurant location. Once they found a space in the historic downtown district of Blue Springs, MO – they approached Diamond Contractors to complete a full remodel. The old, abandoned building was in extreme disrepair with major structural and compliance issues.

Diamond worked closely with the owner’s design team and the local municipality to ensure the building was safe & code compliant.

Work on this project included: new roofing, exterior sheet metal and paint, HVAC, structural framing, fireproofing, rehab of existing wood floors, structural steel, electrical and plumbing throughout, masonry, framing & drywall, trim & carpentry, and architectural metal ceilings.

The finished product was a beautiful new restaurant, complete with a new kitchen, fresh dining areas and two clean restrooms.
