Once you’ve found a space, we meet with you onsite to discuss the scope of work and design goals of the project, iron out permitting requirements and code requirements, and perform construction from start to finish.

Depending on where you are in the process for design/permitting, it’s as simple as agreeing on a price and issuing a contract. Diamond is happy to meet with any potential client to discuss scope, schedule, budget, and logistics to ensure everyone is on the same page. Once plans and pricing are confirmed, we provide a contract and schedule for clear communication and expectations. We use an industry standard AIA contract that is suitable for SBA Loan requirements.

Yes, we have done multiple projects through both SBA and Escrow.

The scope of the project will directly determine if a permit is required - we would confirm this at our initial meeting onsite. If the work you are planning does require a permit, you will need an Architect/Engineer (which we can facilitate). If it does not, we can provide design/build services from start to finish. We will ensure all work is completed per code and passes all inspections necessary to be code compliant.

We hold weekly virtual meetings with our clients; or more, if requested. These meetings include reviewing all aspects of the project and providing progress photos for the week prior. Should any issues arise during construction, we bring those to your attention to discuss solutions in addition to any changes to scope, schedule, or budget that needs to be addressed, along with any other questions you may have. We will also provide you with our emails and cell phone numbers for access anytime during the project.

We have a dedicated site Superintendent that oversees all aspects of the project from beginning to end, every day. They check in with the office multiple times a day, take daily photos, do daily scope/schedule reports, and keep the jobsite safe and up to code. It is the Superintendent’s responsibility to ensure safety, quality, documentation and communication daily, directly from the jobsite. This also includes site visits from the Project Management team multiple times per week. We ensure that we partner with quality subcontractors who have a proven track record of quality work, who we have built relationships with over time, and who we trust to complete your project with excellence.

Diamond Contractors wants to ensure you are happy with the work we deliver. We honor our work for a minimum of 1 year from the completion date, and we also require that of any subcontractors that we hire.
